This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Ng Pock Too, Adviser to the Singapore Bank Employees' Union in 1989-to date. He was Member of the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board (1975-1976); Deputy Director of the Economic Development Board (1980-1982); Member (1982-1983) and later Chief Executive Officer of the Trade Development Board (Jan 1984); Political Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office (May 1984-Nov 1990); Deputy Director (1984) and later Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (1987-Jul 1990); People’s Action Party Member of Parliament for Nee Soon Central (1988-1991); Executive Secretary of the Singapore Port Workers' Union (1986-1990); Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NTUC INCOME (Sep 1990-2005) and Jurong Engineering Limited (1991-1998); Adviser to the Singapore Bank Officers' Association (1994); and Chief Executive Officer (1990-1993) and later re-designated as President of the Sembawang Group (1994).
