Information About
This 1960s photograph shows a stretch of North Bridge Road, which is one of the earliest and longest roads in Singapore. Several 2-storey and 3 storey shophouses are seen in the middle of the image. The Mun Dispensary is housed in one of the 2-storey shophouses, located at the corner of North Bridge Road and Middle Road. These shophouses have since been demolished. Towering in the background is the Shaw Towers at Beach Road. Photograph donated by Tan Siak Kuan and displayed at Heritage Roadshow 2007. Title devised by Library staff. Date of creation estimated.
