Dr. Sharon Siddique (left), Deputy Director of Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS, 1990-1994), speaking at a seminar held at Marina Mandarin Hotel on 20 May 1992. Seated next to her is Mr. Rohan Kamis, Second Deputy Chairman of MENDAKI. The seminar, entitled "Islam, Finance and Business in South East Asia", was jointly organised by ISEAS and MENDAKI. The speaker is a partner in Sreekumar Siddique & Co., a regional research consulting company based in Singapore (1994-2006). Her husband is Mr. Kemal Siddique, Ambassador of Singapore to the Soviet Union (1984-1986), West Germany (Nov 1986-Mar 1993) and Roving Ambassador to Norway and Denmark (1994-1996).
