This is a side view of the three-storey classroom block of Whampoa Secondary School (Chinese) (黄埔政府华文中学) at Upper Aljunied Road. The Chinese-medium school was declared open by Mr. Buang Omar Junid, Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Law and Legislative Assemblyman for Kallang, in May 1961. The school was closed down in 1994 and later became home to Bendemeer Secondary School since 1998. Title devised by Library staff.
