This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Ng Kiat Chong, Executive Director of the Port of Singapore Authority from July 1987 to May 1991. He was Deputy Director for Finance (1970); Director of Economics for Trade and Industry (1979-1981); Board Member of the Jurong Town Corporation (1979-1980) and the Telecommunication Authority of Singapore (1979-1980); Deputy Secretary for Labour (1981-1982), National Development (1991-1992) and Law (1993); Secretary of the National Productivity Council (1982); Deputy Chairman (1982-1983) and later Executive Director of the National Productivity Board (1983-1987); and Executive Vice President of the Singapore Technologies Holdings Group (1992-1993).
