This project was won in a competition as part of the Urban Redevelopment Authority's 9th Land Sale. The building occupies a rectangular 1,670 square metres plot at the junction of Cecil Street and Boon Tat Street. It comprises an 18 storey tower, an interlocking tower at the 14th storey and a podium block. The building has many architectural features to respond to the tropical climate of Singapore. For instance, the podium has a four storey high naturally-ventilated atrium roof to expel excess build-up of heat, while the detailing of the building's facade is designed to reduce solar heat gain. Furthermore, its deeply recessed window panel is designed to effectively disperesed solar heat gain to leave the interior relatively cool.
