"During the circuit breaker, there were stories on how people were not wearing masks when they were outside, although it was mandated. Be Kind SG volunteers decided to come up with an online poster to remind people to wear masks to protect themselves and their loved ones. We also advocated for people to be kind to each other, as there may be other reasons why the person is not wearing a mask, and if faced with such a situation, to offer the person a mask instead of engaging in negative behaviours such as taking their photos and posting online. We hope to cultivate a kind and gracious society."--Contributed by Be Kind SG, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call. This photograph shows the online poster of Be Kind SG volunteers with mask on and each with personal messages reminding the public to be kind to others during the pandemic.
