This picture depicts the façade of St. Peter's Church on Stamford Road, adjacent to St. Andrew's School. Opened in February 1875, it became the temporary headquarters of St. John Ambulance (Feb 1949-1957). The building was demolished and the site was occupied by National Library subsequently. Title devised by Library staff.
