This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Ng Aik Huan (黄奕欢), a prominent businessman, Committee Member (1937-1972) and later Head of General Affairs Section of the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan (1972-1978). He was Committee Member of the Singapore Anti-Opium Society (1937), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce (1946-1960), Executive Committee of the Singapore Council of Social Service (1958-1959, 1968), Nanyang University Council (1960-1961) and the Chung Hwa Girls' High School Management Committee (1971-1984); and President of the Nanyang Confucian Association (1981-1985).
