Information About

This photograph shows the Aerobus in Switzerland. The Aerobus was an electrically driven, autonomous bus-like vehicle that travels along an elevated cable track. This cable layout, resembling that of a suspension bridge, enabled the vehicle to cover considerable distances of up to 600 meters between support towers. The Aerobus system was invented by Gerhard Mueller from the GMD Mueller aerial lift company in Switzerland during the late 1960s.
