This 1946 photograph (numbered “3669”) shows the courtroom in session for the war crimes trials, which are held in the Supreme Court, Singapore after the end of World War II. The defendants, seven Japanese officers and other ranks dressed in uniforms are standing in the dock. They are on trial for their part in the war crimes during World War II.
