Dr. Wu Lien-teh, right front. This photograph shows Dr. Wu, a Penang-born physician, with some Chinese and Russian workers at Manchouli in 1921. The left sleeve of the uniform of one of the workers bears a Red Cross emblem. This was taken outside a brick building with a sign containing Russian words. Title devised by Library staff.
