An artist's impression of the proposed three-storey Kampong Glam Community Centre at 750, Victoria Street. It was declared open by Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew on 24 November 1973. The Centre was built to replace the old single-storey Kampong Glam Community Centre at Beach Road.
