This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Reverend Dr. Yap Kim Hao, the first Asian Bishop of the Methodist Church in Malaysia and Singapore from 1968 to 1973. He was Associate Pastor of Wesley Methodist Church (1957-1958); General Secretary of the Christian Conference of Asia (1973); and Christian Council Member of the Inter-Religious Organisation.
