Information About

This photograph shows the floor plan of a 6-person apartment of The Forum, a proposed mixed development of shopping, offices and apartments. It is designed by Timothy Seow & Partners. There are 7 floors of residential space in the building. In the centre of the floor is a skylight. The are four corners that have roof over the podium. The plan also features the layout of a 3-bedroom apartment that comes with a study and family area on top of the standard living and dining, and kitchen. The lift lobby is next to the apartments. The design architect company's logo is found at the bottom right corner. In 1985, during the construction of the Forum, the name was changed to Forum Galleria when the building came under a new Arab developer, the Dubai government-owned Union Bank of the Middle East. The site was formerly occupied by the Singapura Forum Hotel when it was bought in 1982. It was the first international five-star hotel in the early 1960s but lost out to competition from other hotels, leading to its employees' farewell in 1983. Date of creation estimated.
