This 2009 photograph shows the Victorian-styled bandstand, in Singapore Botanic Gardens. The Bandstand, surrounded by a rim of yellow rain trees, is still more or less in its 1860s form. No longer used as a bandstand, it has always been an object for painters and a backdrop for wedding photographs. Title devised by Library staff.
