Close-up of Mr. Claude Guinet, a well-known Frenchman Rotarian and owner of the Veni Vici Stable (formerly Red and Green Stable) at Bukit Timah Racecourse. He dominated the racing scene for four seasons, in 1960, and 1963 to 1965, and won more than $1.7 million in prize money, until he quit the racing scene in 1966. He was Patron of Singapore Rifle Association (1961); and Managing Director of Prince's Restaurant at Orchard Road (1969). TItle devised by Library staff.
