This picture depicts a view of the basketball ball court and the single-storey Kampong Glam Community Centre located along Beach Road, adjacent to Clyde Terrace Market. It was declared open by Mr. S. Rajaratnam, Minister for Culture and Member of Parliament for Kampong Glam, on 4 June 1960. A new Community Centre was built and completed in 1973. Title devised by Library staff.
