This is a portrait of Lieutenant-Colonel (LTC) Mohamed Zakir bin Abdul Hamid in the cockpit of a transport plane. He is the first Malay-Muslim air force pilot to earn his wings with the elite Republic of Singapore Air Force in 1992. He is the commanding officer of Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) three-month deployment of KC-135 tanker aircraft in the Gulf in 2008. Title devised by Library staff.
