This photograph shows tents set up at Jing Shui Gang Dou Mu Gong Feng Shan Si (汫水港斗母宫鳳山寺) or Kew Ong Yah Hong San See temple at Yishun Ring Road, during the Nine Emperor Gods festival held in November 1995. The festival is a nine-day Taoist celebration beginning on the first day to the ninth day of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. A large paper offerings for the deities and some devotees can be seen under the tent nearer the entrance in the foreground while some sedan chairs can be seen on a raised platform under another tent further back.
