"Since early 2019, Be Kind SG has created micro-volunteering opportunities at National Kidney Foundation (NKF) dialysis centres. These sessions usually include a #craftforgood session where volunteers craft flower arrangements and various crafts to present at a short befriending session. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to volunteer in-person at NKF. Instead, our lead volunteers, Jackie and Swee Luan, have created various stay well packs for dialysis patients at Admiralty and Bukit Batok Dialysis Centres in June and September separately. Other volunteers created beautiful handmade encouragement cards to pack into the care packs. The pandemic has made us think of volunteering in creative and innovative ways."--Contributed by Be Kind SG, as part of the "Documenting COVID-19 in Singapore" collection community call.
