This is a half-length portrait of Miss Nanda Bandara, a teacher (1960-1975) and later Principal of Haig Girls' School at Jalan Tembusu, off Haig Road, from 1975 to 1986. She later became Principal of Raffles Girls' Primary School (1988-1998). Title devised by Library staff.
