Mrs. Lim Soon Tze seated in her office. She was Principal of Anderson Secondary School (1986-1990). In the Ministry of Education, she served as Senior Inspector of Schools; Deputy Director of Primary and Secondary Schools; Deputy Director of Primary Schools (1985); Director of Curriculum Planning Division (1988); Director of Curriculum Development Institute of Singapore (CDIS); and Director of Educational Technology, and Director of Schools (1997-2002). She was a teacher at Raffles Girls' Secondary School; Head of Department and Vice-Principal of National Junior College; Chairman of Governing Board of SEAMEO Regional Language Centre; Member of National Institute of Education Council; Director of National Library Board (1997), National Computer Board, and POPULAR (2002-2008). She was conferred the Public Administration Silver and Gold Medal in 1990 and 2001 National Day Awards respectively for her contributions to education. Title devised by Library staff.
