Information About

This is a 1982 photograph depicting no. 3 Tank Road, at River Valley Road. The three-storey shophouse building features a five-foot way on the ground floor, and casement windows with timber louvred shutters on the upper floors. Tank Road was where the early water storage tanks, fed from the springs on Fort Canning, were built to supply to the whole town. Title devised by Library staff.
