This is a posed photograph of the teachers and students of Poi Ching School (培青学校) with the school founder. The text is in Chinese. The school, which was founded in 1919 by Mr. Guok Koh Muo (or Kwok Koh Mou, 郭可模) was housed within the Singapore Futsing Association (新加坡福清会馆) building at Queen Street from 1924 onwards. In 1970, it moved into a new school building in Toa Payoh. The school is now located at Tampines Street 71. Title devised by Library staff.
