This is a 1973 photograph depicting a row of shophouses at Neil Road, from opposite Kreta Ayer Road. The row consists of two- and three-storey shophouses with tiled roof, and a five-foot way. Some of the shophouses have overhangs over their entrances. These shophouse are now part of the rows of shophouses in the Tanjong Pagar area of Neil Road which have been conserved.
