This is a photograph of the Sultan Mosque (or "Masjid Sultan" in Malay) at Muscat Street in Kampong Glam area. Designed by Mr. Dennis Santry of Swan and MacLaren, it is built between 1924 and 1928, and is the biggest mosque in Singapore. It features two massive golden onion-shaped dome and four minarets. On14 March 1975, it was gazetted as a national monument. Title devised by Library staff.
