A section of Madrasah Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah at 14 Ipoh Lane, off Tanjong Katong Road, between 1940 and 1985. A female student in white blouse and pink long skirt uniform is walking towards the school. Syed Syeikh Omar Bamadhaj donated the land for the building of the religious school in 1940.
