A layout plan of Qiaonan Primary School (侨南小学) at 15 Tampines Street 11. Text in Chinese. The school was established as Kiau Nam School (桥南学校) in a rented house at Lorong Koo Chye in Paya Lebar by Mr. Wang Xi Yuan on 26 May 1933. The school moved a few times – to Lorong Tai Seng (1938), Paya Lebar Road (1940) and Tampines Street 11 (Jan 1985). The school was renamed "Qiaonan Primary School" and was officially declared open by Mr. Tang Guan Seng, Parliamentary Secretary for Education and Member of Parliament for Khe Bong, on 3 October 1985.
