This is a head-and-shoulder portrait of Mr. Chua Pho Tiong, Managing Director of Asia Commercial Banking Corporation Limited (1965-1975) and later Asia Commercial Bank (1980). He was Treasurer of Stamford Community Centre Management Committee (1965); Member (1966) and later Chairman of Stamford Citizens' Consultative Committee (1970); Honorary Chairman of Singapore Hardware Manufacturers' Association; Member of Chinese High School Management Committee and Hwa Chong Junior College Management Committee (1975); Board Member of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (1977); and Vice-President of Singapore Amateur Basketball Federation (1964-1965), Basketball Association of Singapore (1970-1972) and Singapore Chinese Swimming Club (1979).
