This picture depicts a view of the tower of Church of the True Light at 25, Perak Road in the Little India area. It was also home to the 29th Singapore Company of Boys' Brigade in 1977. The foundation stone was laid by Right Reverend Henry Wolfe Baines on 4 October 1951. The church caters mainly to the Heng Hwa and Hockchew Chinese communities, in particular, trishaw riders who lived and worked in the area. Title devised by Library staff.
