This is a façade of Bo Tien Home for the Aged (武天老人院) at 407A, Woodlands Road. Followers of Bo Tien Temple (武天宫) established the Home in early 1974 to provide free accommodation for the needy aged in Singapore. The dormitory was built at 407A, Woodlands Road in 1976 to replace the dilapidated shed that was converted from a temple shrine. By June 2003, the land was returned to JTC and a new 3½-storey dormitory and temple was built at 6, Fourth Chin Bee Road. Title devised by Library staff.
