The photograph of Mr. Kunalan Canagasabai running in a stadium. He was the 100 metres national record holder of 10.38 sec; made during the 19th Olympic Games in Mexico City on 15 July 1968. The record stood for 33 years before it was broken. He was awarded the Best Sportsman of the Year in 1968 and 1969. He represented Singapore in the Olympic Games (1964, 1968).
