This is the facade of the completed VICOM Inspection Centre at 385 Sin Ming Drive. Dr. Wong Kwei Cheong, Minister of State for Labour, Chairman of the National Productivity Board, and Chairman of the Board of VICOM Private Limited laid the stone foundation of the building on 25 November 1981. Mr. Goh Chok Tong, Minister of Defence, Second Minister for Health and Chairman of the Singapore Labour Foundation, officiated the opening ceremony of the Centre in 1982.
