Information About

This picture depicts the façade of the three-storey Mujahidin Mosque [Masjid Mujahidin] at 590, Stirling Road in Queenstown. It has a circular glass-panelled prayer hall and instead of a dome, it has a cuboid top with semi-oval openings on all four sides. The mosque was the second one built under the Mosque Building Fund scheme. It was declared open by Dr. Ahmad Mattar, Acting Minister for Social Affairs, on 9 October 1977. Title devised by Library staff.
