This is a picture of (from left to right) Messrs. Seah Yun Chong, Louis Hon Yung Sen, and Yong Nyuk Lin. All three were graduates of Raffles College (1933-1934). Seah was Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Stamford Club (1949), Assistant Superintendent of Police and Police Education Officer (1952), President of the Singapore Teachers' Union (1959-1961), Member of the Education Advisory Council (1959-1960) and the first President of the Association of Football Players (1962-1965). Hon was Senior Lecturer in Physics at the University of Malaya, Singapore (1960-1970), President of the University of Singapore Academic Staff Association (1969), Dean of the Faculty of Science in the University of Singapore (1965-1968), President of the Singapore Science Teachers' Association, Vice-President of the Singapore National Academy of Science (1972-1973), Vice-Chairman of the Liquors Licensing Board (1960-1962, 1974-1977), and First Vice-President of the Singapore Association for the Advancement of Science (1981-1982). Yong was a chemistry demonstrator in Raffles College (1937-1938), Secretary of the Singapore Stamford Club, Council Member of the University of Malaya, and later became the first Minister for Education (1959-1963).
