This is a partial view of a section of National Youth Leadership Training Institute at South Buona Vista Road in Pasir Panjang. The Institute, formerly known as "Buona Vista Youth Leadership Training Centre", was declared open by Dr. Goh Keng Swee, Minister for Finance and Deputy Chairman of People's Association, on 5 October 1964. In 1965, it was renamed "National Youth Leadership Training Institute" (NYLTI). In 1971, the acronym NYLTI was changed to NAYTI. The Institute was renamed "National Community Leadership Training Institute" (NACTI) on 7 October 1989 on its 25th Anniversary. In 1995, NACTI was renamed "National Community Leadership Institute" (NACLI). Title devised by Library staff.
