This picture shows the premises of Poi Ching School (培青学校) in Toa Payoh. The school was founded at Victoria Street in 1919 by Mr. Guok Koh Muo (郭可模). In 1924, it was relocated to Queen Street and later to Toa Payoh in 1970. In 2000, the primary school was relocated to 21, Tampines Street 71. Past principals include Mr. Guok Koh Muo (郭可模, 1919); Mr. Ding Bing Hock (陈平福, 1979-1980); Mr. Yu Chu Siong (1985-1987); Mr. Lim Chin Sam (1998); Madam Foo Mui Chuw (符美珠, 2001-Dec 2006); Mr. Chong Kwai Kuen (锺桂权, Jan 2007-to date).
