This photograph shows two schoolgirls mounting the red brick pavement leading to Yunnan Inn Restaurant, a hilltop seafood restaurant, housed in a circular-tiered two-storey structure with overhanging greenery, in Clementi Woods Park, along Clementi Road. It was relocated to Tampines Mall in November 1995. The hilltop building was occupied by Clementi Garden Seafood Restaurant (Dec 1996-2002), Fortune House (2003-2006) and Sakura Restaurant (2006-to date). Title devised by Library staff.
