This photograph shows Mr. Hang Kim Hoo (王金富), playing erhu (二胡), a two-string Chinese musical instrument. He graduated from National University of Singapore in 1981. He started playing erhu during his pre-university days in National Junior College in 1970s. He started his career in 1984 as a Mathematics Teacher at Raffles Institution. He became Principal of Clementi Town Secondary School (2000-2004) and National University of Singapore High School of Mathematics and Science (Aug 2007-to date); Manager of the School Cockpit Administration Centre, Ministry of Education (2007); and Vice-President of the Singapore Mathematical Society (1994-to date).
