This is close-up of Mr. Haji Wan Hussin bin Haji Zoohri, Executive Secretary of Yayasan MENDAKI or Majlis Pendidikan Anak-anak Islam Singapura (Council on Education for Muslim Children) from 1983 to August 1989. He was a teacher at Sang Nila Utama Secondary School and Catholic Junior College (1987-2002); Principal of Tun Sri Lanang Secondary School (1974-1978) and Mayflower Secondary School (1981); Senior Inspector of Schools at Ministry of Education (1978-1980); Secretary-General (1970-1972) and later President of Singapore Malay Teachers' Union (1977-1979); Parliament Secretary for Health and Culture (Sep 1981-1984), and Communications and Information (1985-1986); President of Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud or Prophet Muhammad's Birthday Memorial Scholarship Fund Board (Apr 1995-to date), and Singapore Malay Badminton Association (2005-to date); and PAP Member of Parliament for Kampong Ubi (1980-1987) and Aljunied GRC (1988-1991).
