This photograph shows a side view of the MND (Ministry of National Development) Building at Maxwell Road. Completed in 1970, the 22-storey building houses the ministry's various departments including the HDB, as well as corporate offices. The ministry previous premises was an old SIT block in Upper Pickering Street. The building faces shophouses directly opposite and to its left is the one-room HDB flats at 5 Banda Street.
