Pupils of Jurong Town Primary School playing at the newly open playground in the first residential neighbourhood of Taman Jurong. It was declared open by Mr. Othman bin Wok, Minister for Culture and Social Affairs, on 29 January 1967. In January 2003, the school merged with Merlimau Primary School and Yung An Primary School to form "Lakeside Primary School". Title devised by Library staff.
