Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew (garlanded, foreground) meets residents in front of Woodlands Community Centre during a visit to Bukit Panjang constituency. He laid the foundation stone of the Centre on 3 March 1963. The Centre was declared open by Mr. Lee Khoon Choy, Parliamentary Secretary for Education, on 14 September 1963.
