The Singapore Cricket Club was established in 1852 due to the popularity of the game among the European community. Three Malay men are sitting on the ground in the foreground. A statue of Sir Stamford Raffles can be seen on the right in the background. The back of the postcard is unwritten. Date of creation estimated.
