This report provides an analysis of the construction market developments in the Asia-Pacific region and the outlook of the sector in the near and medium term. Attention has been focussed on the business prospects for the construction sector. A recent study carried out by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) indicated that the Asia- Pacific countries are projected to be spending up to US$1.16 trillion a year on construction projects in the next 2 to 3 years.
