This publication contains the first five issues of the Journal of the Straits Medical Association. Issue number 1 contains an introduction to the Association which had been formed in 1890. It also contains minutes of meetings, the rules of the Association, and several medical articles. Issues 2, 3 and contain minutes of meetings and medical articles, while issue 4 contains only minutes of meetings.
