This is a report on the Family Planning Seminar for the Community Leaders of Bukit Batok, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Timah, Chua Chu Kang and Jurong Constituencies held on Sunday, 16 November 1975 at the Hotel Equatorial. The main objectives of the seminar were to create awareness of the population situation in the world in general and in Singapore in particular and to promote the two-child family as a social norm in Singapore. The theme adopted for the seminar was "Singapore Wants 2-Child Families".
