Manuscript accompanied by: "Alexander Dalrymple (1737-1808) "Father of the Admiralty Chart", reports on French Indo-China and on the importance of Saigon for Britain in 1800. A Vietnamese sailor-king studies the French Encyclopedie. Napoleon's alarming interest in China (2 typescript leaves 232-233, 30 cm); "Dalrymple" (1 typescript photocopy leaf, pages 402-403, 30 cm). "Manuscript copy of Alexander Dalrymple's "Second memoir" concerning French Indo-China (Cochin-China) in 1800.
