The Republic of Singapore Government Gazette is an official publication of all Government notices, including the operation dates of Acts of Parliament. Once the notice in the Gazette is published, the public is deemed to have notice of it. Subsidiary legislation, such as rules and regulations, is published in the Government Gazette, in the Subsidiary Legislation Supplement. This gazette informs of the subsidiary legislation made and/or updated concerning the Children and Young Persons Act, the Companies Act, the Criminal Procedure Code, the Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Act, the Military Manoeuvres Act, the Income Tax Act, the Poisons Act, the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Public Transport Council Act, and the Road Traffic Act.
